Christmas was over and the New Year was here. January in Morzine is busy and fun, and this is what was happening.
On the slopes
- Night skiing: a night ski run down the Pléney on 7 January.
- La Grande Odyssée: a husky sled race on 9 January, covering 900km through 24 resorts, including Morzine.
- Red Bull Crashed Ice Riders Cup: high speed downhill ice skating in Avoriaz on 15 and 16 January, part of the Ice Cross Downhill World Championship.
Après-ski and nightlife
- A Thursday "back to the 80s" party at the Cookie Cafe
- Après parties at the Inferno Bar
- A happy hour at the bottom of the Ardent telecabine
- Guest DJs at Hotel Tremplin

Off the slopes
- Weekly ice hockey with the Penguins at the Morzine sports centre
- Cheese making at L'Alpage on Wednesdays at 9.30am
- A Van Gogh exhibition at the Palais des Sports
