Walking through snow with the aid of snow-shoes is an excellent way to travel through the winter landscape without needing the technical skills of a skier.

Modern snow-shoes are lightweight and it takes just a few minutes to become comfortable. Snow-shoeing is one of the best ways to explore the mountains in winter. Anyone can do it and the walks can be as demanding or easy as you like.

Have fun, without your ski boots on!

Take a break from skiing and discover new places on your snow-shoes. We’ll supply snow-shoes and poles; all you need is a pair of sturdy boots/shoes. Our guide is a qualified middle mountain guide and will make your safety and enjoyment his top priority.

There are hundreds of beautiful snow-shoe walks to choose from and our guide will choose the most suitable one for you and the conditions of the day. You can walk through forests, over frozen lakes, across open snow meadows, up to a summit, over a col or along the valley floor with the mountains in all their winter glory towering over you.

You can even go out for an evening snow-shoe in the moonlight!

• Discovery walks

  Walks along snow paths across snow meadows and valley floors
  Monday - half day 25€ per person

• Panoramic walks

  For those who want breathtaking 360 views of Mont Blanc, Switzerland and Lake Geneva
  Thursday & Wednesday – half day 25€ per person

• Walk on the wild side

  Observe through binoculars chamois, ibex and deer
  Tuesdays / Fridays – half day 25€ per person

• Escape for the day

  A day out in the wilderness with a fondue lunch in mountain refuge
  Fridays – all day 40€ per person

• Evening torch light walks

  Experience the mountains at night and under torch light
  Wednesdays – 2hrs with a ‘vin chaud’ stop (18€ per person) or cheese fondue in a mountain refuge (43€ per person)
