Ian formed the original school in 1992 which is now run as a cooperative and is the current director and has 29 year teaching experience in the Alps, 23 of them in the Portes du Soleil. His background is in Freestyle skiing and he represented Britain at world cup level. He was an examiner for the British Association of Snowsport Instructors for 8 years.
